DAY 15: Revival in our land
Revival in our land begins with you. Spiritual awakenings are not accidental but intentional, they are cultivated through genuine deep repentance, relentless individual, and corporate prayers like what we are doing now.
There is a price to pay for genuine revival on our land, one of such price is consecration and brokenness .
Revival can break out from everywhere, it is looking for people who will respond.
2 Chronicles 7:14 – “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to prayer made in this place. For now I have chosen and sanctified this house, that My name may be there forever; and My eyes and My heart will be there perpetually.”
Psalms 51:17 – “The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, A broken and a contrite heart— These, O God, You will not despise.”
Psalms 85:6 – “Will You not revive us again, That Your people may rejoice in You?”
Hosea 6:1-2 – “Come, and let us return to the Lord; For He has torn, but He will heal us; He has stricken, but He will bind us up. After two days He will revive us; On the third day He will raise us up, That we may live in His sight.”
Ezekiel 37:9 – “Also He said to me, “Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live.” ’ ””
We acknowledge the decline in our society and we are here to ask that God,s spirit breathe new life into us His people. God has done it before , He can do it again.
PRAYER POINTS:
Lord with genuine brokenness we come to your throne tonight, we give up idolatry and return to you. Revive us ,our families , and the nations of the earth.
Lord thank you for forgiveness of our confessed sins , and thank you for your divine promise of restoration.
Thank you for the grace bestowed upon on us to humble ourselves to seek your face in this season.
As we turn aside to seek your face let every one of us find you indeed.
We pray that we will not miss your timings
Lord you promised to hear us when we call upon you in truth, hear our cry oh Lord according to your promise.
Now, Lord show mercy on our land and heal, deliver our land from the clutches of darkness.
Lord let your spirit breakout in all nations .
As your body we come as one united to see your purposes fulfil in our land. ( pray for UK, pray for your individual country and pray for the entire world)
Pour out your spirit upon the church like the day of Pentecost.
Fan in us your fire to burn for you always.
Lord help us to walk in the power of your spirit and make the church relevant again like before.
